I booked AmeriSafe and was given an original estimate of about 3200. I have ended up paying them over 6700. Note that I did NOT acquire more stuff- in fact, I got rid of stuff. Amerisafe is NOT a moving company, they're a moving broker. Work with the movers directly because Amerisafe just takes your money and hires a random third party they have actually no control over. Our movers threw our stuff down stairs, banged our furniture against walls and doors, and complained while doing the job we had actually paid them to do.

They showed up with a smaller truck than agreed upon, which resulted in multiple trips and increased costs. Their lack of proper planning and organization caused unnecessary delays and frustration.
